The Secure Proxy (SEPROX) is an additional service of the HOOC Access solution. With the Secure Proxy, you can:

a) access your local devices directly via your browser through a (e.g. WebVisu).

b) control your computer remotely using a browser (e.g. VNC).

The Secure Proxy (SEPROX) has now been enriched with interesting new features.

SEPROX now also supports Apple RDP, encrypted VNC connections and TLS connections on the installation side in «TCP over TLS». In other words, you get encrypted communication within the site's network.

SEPROX now supports DNS and mDNS records for on-site name resolution. Hence, an IP address is no longer required for mapping; the name is sufficient.

SEPROX s can be supplemented with path information. This allows an easier handling for end users.

SEPROX now offers mappings to TCP ports. This means that data exchange can be possible without a HOOC gateway (see MQTT info).
