Until the spring of 2022, the HOOC remote alarm, data logging and remote control system always operated via a HOOC gateway using the following fieldbus protocols: Modbus, KNX and LoRa. All of our solutions required installation of a HOOC gateway on site.
Today, with MQTT, we offer an additional interface for data exchange between the HOOC solution and various sensors, actuators and PLC controls. With the MQTT protocol, a completely new application possibility is created where, for some solutions, it is no longer necessary to install a HOOC gateway. Simply install a remote I/O system (e.g. Shelly).
The latest generation of PLC controllers as well as field devices (e.g. Shelly remote I/O) can now be directly integrated into the HOOC ecosystem. This means that if the data exchange is done via MQTT, there is no longer any need for a HOOC gateway to be installed as far as the solutions HOOC Alert, DataCollect and Control are concerned.
